Best Golf Development Portugal 2010 & Portuguese Oscars 2011 |

The Residences at Victoria Clube de Golfe, Vilamoura, has been awarded the prestigious "Best Golf Development in Portugal".
The award, presented annually by the International Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television, was presented to Gilberto Jordan CEO of the André Jordan Group at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, London, Friday 24th September. The Residences at Victoria Clube de Golfe, was runner up in the overall Best Golf Development in Europe Award, to The K Club near Dublin, which features 2 Arnold Palmer designed courses, home of the 2006 Ryder Cup and 13 European Open Championships.
The Residences at Victoria Clube de Golfe, has been nominated for the Portuguese Real Estate ‘Oscars’, as the "Best Development Award 2011". The Winners of the 6 categories will be confirmed at a Prize Giving Ceremony, in Lisbon on the 28th April.

Only registered owners and their nominated immediate family members of The Residences at Victoria, have the privilege of playing all 5 Vilamoura Golf Courses for half price. These owners’ special prices are 50% less than the Seasonal Rates when booking direct with the golf courses. Owners and nominated immediate family members, playing the 5 courses throughout the year, pay on average only €40 per round as opposed €80 direct. This extremely valuable benefit is effective until at least 2039. Owner’s additional extended family members and friends also benefit from a 25% discount off Seasonal Prices.

Owners Projected Rental Income

All owners in the rental pool have received their income for the second six months of 2010. The rental pool achieved €1,200,000 income spread amongst the participating owners.
The occupancy rate for the peak 4 summer months from mid June to mid October was 87%, August being 92%. The average daily rate in August for a 2 bedroom apartment was €300, a 3 bedroom apartment €350. To maximise their income many owners leave August to the rental operation and visit in July or September.

The projection for 2011 is €1,560,000 a 30% increase, based upon more apartments available in the rental pool, higher forecasted occupancy levels, due to repeat visitors, greater number of International Travel Agents promoting the Resort and more owners friends visiting. Portugal Masters returns 13th to 16th October

Now in its fifth year, The Residences at Victoria overlooks the Masters Victoria Course. The Portugal Open normally held in the Lisbon area has merged with The Portugal Masters, to form a new enlarged tournament with total prize money of Euro 4 million. The top seven players last year were all from different countries, highlighting the International attraction for the professionals of this warm, sunny autumn event. We all look forward to the Masters returning the 13th to 16th October. Richard Green of Australia won the fourth Portugal Masters with an 18 under par score, 2 shots ahead of 4 players held at The Oceānico Victoria Course last October.

Portugal Masters, Residences Pro-Am Team 2010
Wednesday 13th October 2010, saw 3 lucky owners playing with French Professional Raphael Jacquelin in the Pro-Am Tournament. The team finished fourth, 14 under par.
